Montfort Maritime Appoints Clement Choy as Trading Manager

Montfort Maritime has appointed Clement Choy as Trading Manager, based in Singapore, joining its global tanker trading team.

Clement brings more than 12 years of experience across freight trading, commercial management and ship owning, with real depth in both CPP and DPP tankers. In his last role he ran a freight book East of Suez across MRs, Aframax's and LR2s, with responsibilities spanning fleet deployment, TC Management, delivering on agreed trading strategies, and stakeholder management.

Commenting on the appointment, Torben Pedersen, Head of Trading at Montfort Maritime said: “Clement combines in-depth knowledge across multiple markets with a trader’s commercial instinct. He’s set to add further strength to the team in Singapore, and to our tanker trading activities more broadly, while playing a key role in delivering on the Maritime strategies as well as in shaping our upcoming projects.”
